Hey there /r/RealEstate! I’ve noticed an uptick in these threads and have had requests to take them down as “redundant.” So just as the title says, this is your place to rant about them all add your own well thought out ideas on the issues facing the real estate industry in the US and Canada today (the rest of the world is very different and few of us know a damned thing about it).
But before we get started, I’d like to remind you that a few of us have been through more than one thing that was supposed to change real estate transactions forever and put real estate agents out of business: the big search sites (that turned out to be funnels delivering the public to the agents that pay the bills); electronic signing (agents love it!); iBuyers (which I still prefer to call “used house dealerships”); the latest group of lawsuits are just the most recent alleged disruptor.
So get out there, share your opinions, and try not to be polite to one another.
